RALEIGH, NC – With the final addition of 2009 U.S. Women’s Open champion Eun-Hee Ji, winner of the LPGA’s Bank of Hope LPGA Match-Play on Sunday, the field for the 2022 U.S. Women’s Open was finalized by the USGA.

Ji, 36, of the Republic of Korea, defeated Ayaka Furue, 3 and 2, in the final to claim her sixth LPGA title and will play in her 15th U.S. Women’s Open.

She is one of 12 Women’s Open champions in this year’s field.

Of 156 players teeing it up at Pine Needles Lodge & Golf Club in Southern Pines this week (June 2-5), 80 are fully exempt along with 76 qualifiers – a group that includes 30 amateurs.
