DURHAM, N.C. – Duke Blue Devils wide receiver/punter returner Jamison Crowder received ACC Player of the Week honors for the second consecutive week while placekicker Ross Martin was named a Lou Groza Award Star of the Week, as announced by the two respective awarding organizations on Monday.

Crowder, last week’s ACC Receiver of the Week, was tabbed as the ACC Specialist of the Week, his seventh career league recognition.

He helped to lead Duke to a 27-10 win at Syracuse by breaking a 10-10 tie in the fourth quarter with a 52-yard punt return for a touchdown, and finished the game with six punt returns for 106 yards – averaging just below 18 yards per runback.

Crowder’s punt return for the score was the third of his career as he currently ranks third among all active FBS players in career punt return yards with 765.

Martin put together another perfect kicking performance against the Orange, as he made 34 and 27-yard field goals and added three extra points in the Blue Devils’ eighth win of the season.

A Groza semifinalist in 2014 and 2012, Martin has made all 13 of his field goal tries this season and is perfect on 38 PAT attempts.

He has now made a school-record 98 consecutive PATs, has scored at least one point in 36 straight games, and has converted on at least one field goal in all nine games this season – leading Duke with 77 points.

Crowder, Martin and the Blue Devils (8-1, 4-1 ACC) continue to work to repeat as Coastal Division champions and will face Virginia Tech (4-5, 1-4 ACC) next on Saturday at Wallace Wade Stadium.
