2016 ACC WBB Tournament: Notre Dame’s Cable named MVP, leads All-Tournament selections

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Following No. 2 Notre Dame’s third consecutive Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Tournament title win over No. 17 Syracuse at Greensboro Coliseum on Sunday, the conference announced the All-Tournament Team.

Irish guard Madison Cable earned Most Valuable Player honors to lead First Team selections that included teammates and fellow All-ACC selections Brianna Turner and Lindsey Allen.

ACC Player of the Year, Louisville’s Myisha Hines-Allen and Syracuse’s Alexis Peterson rounded out First Team selections.

Second Team spots were claimed by Azurá Stevens (Duke), Aaliyah Whiteside (Georgia Tech), Asia Durr (Louisville), Jessica Thomas (Miami), and Cornelia Fondren (Syracuse).
