RALEIGH, N.C. – The N.C. State Wolfpack (11-8, 1-5) topped the Pittsburgh Panthers (15-3, 4-2) by an 86-71 margin for their first Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) win of the season at the Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh, Pa. on Tuesday.

On Monday, the No. 20 Duke Blue Devils (14-5, 3-3) couldn’t overcome their deficit and suffered a third consecutive loss, a 64-62 decision, at the hands of the Syracuse Orange (13-7, 1-4) at Cameron Indoor Stadium.

While both the Wolfpack and Blue Devils are trying to right their paths, the 2nd-ranked North Carolina Tar Heels (16-2, 5-0) sit atop the league standings following a 67-55 win over the Wolfpack at the Dean Smith Center on Saturday.
