DURHAM, N.C. – Three former Duke Blue Devils standouts – Takoby Cofield, Jamison Crowder and Laken Tomlinson – have been invited to participate at the 2015 NFL Combine set for February 17-23 in Indianapolis, Ind.

Cofield, a six-foot-four-inch, 310-pound offensive tackle from Tarboro, N.C., earned third team All-ACC honors as a senior after helping Duke lead the nation in fewest tackles for loss allowed per game (3.15).

Cofield, who in 2014 aided in opening holes for a Duke rushing attack that averaged 181.85 yards per contest — the program’s highest mark since 1977 — played in 50 games at Duke and finished his career with a streak of 42 consecutive starting assignments.

Crowder, a five-foot-nine-inch, 175-pound wide receiver from Monroe, N.C., was a three-time All-ACC selection who also garnered All-America accolades as a return specialist in 2013.

In 52 career games, Crowder caught 283 passes for 3,641 yards and 23 touchdowns while returning 65 punts for 869 yards and four touchdowns.

While matching the ACC career record for pass receptions, Crowder amassed 5,575 career all-purpose yards to post the fourth-highest total in ACC history.

He finished his career holding Duke career records for most touchdown receptions of 50-plus yards (10), most consecutive games with two-plus pass receptions (41) and most punt returns for touchdowns while sharing school all-time standards for pass receptions and most games with five-plus receptions (34).

In addition, Crowder established school single-season standards for pass receptions (108 in 2013), pass receptions per game (7.71 in 2013), receiving yards (1,360 in 2013), most games with five-plus pass receptions (13 in 2013), most games with 10-plus pass receptions (4 in 2013) and touchdown receptions of 50-plus yards (5 in 2012) while sharing program single-campaign marks for most games with one-plus pass reception (14 in 2013) and most games with two-plus pass receptions (14 in 2013).

Tomlinson, a six-foot-three-inch, 330-pound offensive guard from Chicago, Ill., received first team All-America honors in 2014 after anchoring a Duke offensive front which led the ACC in fewest sacks allowed per passing attempt (36.23).

A two-time first team All-ACC selection, he served as a team captain in 2014 and helped the Blue Devil offensive unit become the first in school history to average 180-plus rushing yards and 210-plus passing yards per game.

Also as a senior, Tomlinson was the recipient of the Courage Award presented by the Football Writers Association of America in conjunction with the Orange Bowl, named to the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team which recognizes community service in addition to academic and athletic achievement, and finished second in the balloting for the Jacobs Blocking Trophy, an honor presented annually to the top blocker in the ACC.

Cofield, Crowder and Tomlinson helped the Blue Devils to 28 victories over the past four seasons including the 2013 ACC Coastal Division championship and three consecutive bowl game appearances – 2012 Belk, 2013 Chick-fil-A and 2014 Hyundai Sun.
