DURHAM, N.C. – Duke Blue Devils men’s lacrosse head coach John Danowski and his NCAA-championship staff will lead free coaching clinics in the Murray Building Team Room on campus, beginning Tuesday at 7 p.m.

The annual monthly clinics are back for a seventh year and are available to coaches of all levels to attend, and are free of charge.

“I’m thrilled to be getting back to the clinics again,” Danowski said.

“We’ve had great success in many local coaches attending and the online audience has been awesome. I’ve heard from coaches in Utah, Minnesota, North Carolina and even Japan. The passion each of these coaches brings is inspiring.”

Danowski, along with assistant coaches Ron Caputo, Matt Danowski and Ben DeLuca  will lead a two-hour session of learning about everything from practice habits, fundamentals, to building a cohesive unit for those in attendance on site as well as online at GoDuke.com.

Tuesday’s clinic is the first of a series of monthly sessions that the Duke coaching staff will offer during the Fall season.

Future clinics are scheduled for Oct. 7, Nov. 11, and Dec. 9.

Those interested in attending should contact Erin Stephenson at estephenson@duaa.duke.edu, while those unable to attend or watch live can view the archived clinic online which will be available Wednesday afternoon.
