RALEIGH, NC – Atop the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) women’s basketball standings sit the undefeated No. 9 Louisville Cardinals (17-3, 7-0) and Duke Blue Devils (12-6, 7-0).

Duke, Louisville setting the bar

Both extended their current win streaks on Thursday – the Cardinals’ 79-66 win over No. 23 Notre Dame (12-5, 4-3) posted their 10th win in a row, while the Blue Devils’ 65-58 decision over Virginia (13-5, 5-2) was their ninth consecutive.

Wolfpack in the hunt

The NC State Wolfpack (13-5, 6-1) remains close, sitting in sole second place after producing a 95-77 road win over Wake Forest (12-7, 2-5) on Thursday as well.

Big Sunday at home

Triangle-area fans can take in action in both Raleigh and Durham on Sunday as the Wolfpack hosts the Cardinals at Reynolds Coliseum at 1 p.m., followed by a 6 p.m. tip between the Blue Devils and Georgia Tech (8-10, 3-3) at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
