With the forecasted winter storm, ACC makes adjustments to weekend WBB game dates/times

RALEIGH, NC – As a result of the impending winter storm predicted throughout the weekend for a large portion of the United States, including the Triangle area,  the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) announced on Friday adjustments to select women’s basketball game scheduled dates and/or start times.

 

 

ACC Women’s Basketball Game Time Adjustments/Changes

Jan. 24-25, 2026

Boston College at #8 Louisville

Original date/time: Sunday, January 25 at 2 p.m. ET (ACCNX)

New date/time: Saturday, January 24 at 11 a.m. ET (ACCNX)

NC State at Virginia

Original date/time: Sunday, January 25 at noon ET (ACCN)

New date/time: Saturday, January 24 at 3 p.m. ET (ACCNX)

#21 Duke at Pitt

Original date/time: Sunday, January 25 at 2 p.m. ET (ACCN)

New date/time: Saturday, January 24 at 4 p.m. ET (ACCNX)

Virginia Tech at Wake Forest

Notable: A pair of ACC teams are currently ranked in the AP Poll: Louisville (No. 9) and Duke (No. 21). North Carolina, NC State, Notre Dame and Syracuse are receiving votes…Two ACC teams appear in the latest USA TODAY Coaches Poll: Louisville (No. 7) and North Carolina (No. 21). Duke, Notre Dame and Virginia are currently receiving votes…The ACC currently has 11 teams in the top 50 of the NET: Louisville (No. 8), Duke (No. 17), North Carolina (No. 20), NC State (No. 26), Notre Dame (No. 27), Stanford (No. 36), Virginia (No. 38), Syracuse (No. 40), Clemson (No. 41), Miami (No. 46) and Virginia Tech (No. 47)…Three ACC teams are currently in the top 25 of the WAB Rankings: Louisville (No. 6), Duke (No. 17) and NC State (No. 25). North Carolina (No. 28) and Stanford (No. 29) and Syracuse (No. 30) sit just outside the top 25.
