Who will be at the 2023 ACC Football Kickoff

Each of the league’s 14 teams will bring 3 players to Charlotte

RALEIGH, NC – Triangle-area ACC head football coaches are ready to load up with their players and head to The Westin Charlotte for the 2023 ACC Football Kickoff July 25-27.

Representing both sides of the ball

Among the offensive players in attendance at ACC Kickoff will be 11 quarterbacks, eight offensive linemen, three tight ends, two running backs and a wide receiver.

Defensively, eight defensive linemen are scheduled to attend, joining five linebackers and four defensive backs.

Wolfpack ready

NC State Wolfpack coach Dave Doeren will arrive with quarterback Brennan Armstrong, linebacker Payton Wilson, and defensive back Aydan White.

Tar Heels set

North Carolina’s Mack Brown will be onsite along with quarterback Drake Maye, linebacker Cedric Gray, and tight end John Copenhaver.

Blue Devils prepped

Duke head coach Todd Elko will make the trip from the Bull City with quarterback Riley Leonard, defensive lineman DeWayne Carter, and offensive lineman Jacob Monk.

The ACC Network will broadcast live from the ACC Football Kickoff with three days of expansive coverage starting at 9 a.m. every day.

Kicking off its 71st season of football, the ACC has had a team in either the College Football Playoff (CFP) or the BCS National Championship Game in eight of the last 10 years, including two teams in 2020.

The ACC has the second most CFP appearances of any conference, and posted five bowl victories in 2022, which tied for the second-most among all conferences.
