RALEIGH, N.C. – Following a 34-point preseason victory over Winston-Salem State, the NC State Wolfpack women’s basketball team opens the 2013-14 season against the St. Bonaventure Bonnies at Reynolds Coliseum on Friday night.

Tipping off for the second time in the two teams’ all-time series, the Wolfpack, led by head coach Wes Moore, is looking to keep the edge over the Bonnies and follow up on a 70-66 victory in Olean, N.Y. last season.

Moore and the Wolfpack have been busy fine-tuning its four-out-one-in offense that will feature many looks inside to seniors Markeisha Gatling and Kody Burke to lead the team’s scoring in the paint.

From the perimeter, junior guard Len’Nique Brown and freshmen Miah Spencer will help distribute the ball, while senior Myisha Goodwin-Coleman assumes the dangerous spot-up shooting role beyond the arc.

Tip-off between the Wolfpack and Bonnies takes place at 6 p.m.
