Carolina Hurricanes individual game tickets on sale Sept. 10

RALEIGH, N.C. – The Carolina Hurricanes announced on Friday that individual game tickets for all 2015-16 preseason and regular-season games at PNC Arena will go on sale to the public on Thurs., Sept. 10 at Noon.

The public sale will follow an exclusive individual-game buying period for Hurricanes season ticket holders that will begin on Wed., Sept. 9 at 10 a.m.

Season ticket holders can take advantage of the exclusive presale through the online Caniac Account Manager, or in person at the PNC Arena box office by showing their Season Ticket Holder ID card.

Beginning Aug. 21 and running through Sept. 14, fans spending $50 or more on Hurricanes merchandise at The Eye, the team store, will receive a voucher for two free tickets to one of the team’s two preseason games at PNC Arena.

Fans must spend $50 or more after any applicable discounts and vouchers must be redeemed at the PNC Arena Box Office by Mon., Sept. 28.

Seat locations for redeemed vouchers are at the sole discretion of the PNC Arena Box Office.

Carolina begins the 2015-16 regular season at Nashville on Oct. 8, and will play its home opener against the Detroit Red Wings two days later on Sat., Oct. 10.

Duke WBB announces membership program for upcoming season

DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke Blue Devils women’s basketball program announced on Friday the addition of the Duke Women’s Basketball Membership Program for the 2015-16 season.

Blue Devils fans who enroll in the membership program will receive a number of benefits for the cost of $30 per account for the season.

Benefits include a team-autographed poster, opportunities to visit select team practices, admission into the NCAA Women’s Basketball Selection Show Fan Party, and five complimentary vouchers for any regular-season home game.

In addition, enrolled fans will have an opportunity to be selected as the Duke Women’s Basketball Season Ticket Holder of the Week and be featured in a story on GoDuke.com.

The selected individual will also receive special benefits during one regular season home game, including parking pass and seat upgrades, the opportunity to deliver the game ball to the head official before tip-off, attend the postgame press conference, and have his/her picture taken with head coach Joanne P McCallie.
