DURHAM, N.C. – According to Duke Blue Devils football head coach David Cutcliffe, all that his current roster of upperclassmen know, is how to win.

The past three years have been the most successful in program history as the Blue Devils (2-0) have earned three straight bowl appearances and possess a 19-3 record in regular season games dating back to 2013.

Only five other schools – Florida State (22), Ohio State (21), Alabama (20), Baylor (20), and Michigan State (20) – can make that claim.

Duke’s opened the 2015 season with decisive wins over Tulane (37-7) and North Carolina Central (55-0)

So, as the Blue Devils take on the 23rd-ranked Northwestern Wildcats (2-0) this Saturday, when asked about his team’s psyche and mindset to start the season, Cutcliffe pointed out that past success has now bred an expectation to win from the seniors all the way down to freshmen.
