CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Stephanie Mavunga’s double-double performance (14 points, 11 rebounds) along with a game-high 15 points from Xylina McDaniel led the North Carolina Tar Heels to a dominating 100-49 decision over the Charleston Southern Buccaneers at Carmichael Arena on Saturday.
UNC shot 58-percent from the field as all 12 players on the roster got playing time and contributed to the final score.
With the win, the Tar Heels moved to 8-2 overall on the season.
