DURHAM, N.C. – Duke Blue Devils wide receiver Jamison Crowder was named Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Specialist of the Week for the second time this season as announced by the conference on Monday.

Crowder earned the honor after totaling 109 punt return yards including an 82-yard touchdown against the Pittsburgh Panthers last Saturday.

The 5-foot-9-inch, 175-pound native of Monroe, N.C. averaged 36.3 yards per punt return on three attempts in the 58-55 loss to Pitt and took his first punt back 82 yards for his second return touchdown of the season.

He also logged punt returns of 12 and 15 yards on the way to posting 279 all-purpose yards.

For the game, Crowder grabbed seven receptions for a season-high 141 yards and totaled three touchdowns, also scoring on a 62-yard reception and a seven-yard rush.

Through four games, Crowder leads the nation with 258 punt return yards, ranks sixth with 19.8 yards per return and is one of only three players in the country with two punt returns for touchdowns.

His 82-yard punt return ranked as the second longest punt return in the NCAA this season.

Crowder was previously named ACC Specialist of the Week on Sept. 3 following the Blue Devils’ 45-0 season-opening win over NC Central when he finished with 113 punt return yards and a 76-yard touchdown.
