DURHAM, N.C. – Duke Blue Devils wide receiver Jamison Crowder was named Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Receiver of the Week on Monday.
He earned the recognition for the second time this season after catching 10 passes for 121 yards and scoring two touchdowns in Duke’s 28-21 win over Wake Forest last Saturday.
Crowder, who has also earned ACC Specialist of the Week honors twice in 2013, hauled in touchdown receptions of 10 and 58 yards as the Blue Devils improved to 9-2, won their seventh game in a row, and locked up at least a share of the ACC Coastal Division crown.
The 10-catch performance was his second game with double-digit receptions this season, while his 130 all-purpose yards gained against the Demon Deacons earned him his school-record tying sixth of the year.
Crowder currently leads the ACC in receptions (83) and ranks second in receiving yards (1,077), all-purpose yards (1,500), punt return average (15.7) and punt return touchdowns (2).
