Duke football signs Price and Rosene to scholarships

DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke Blue Devils signed defensive end Marquies Price and offensive tackle Reno Rosene to scholarship agreements and are expected to enroll at Duke in January 2015, the team announced on Saturday.

Price, at six-feet-six-inches and 220 pounds, attends Peach County High School in Georgia where during his junior year he amassed 49 tackles and forced three fumbles while helping Peach County to eight wins and a berth in the state playoffs.

Rated as the 62nd-best defensive end in the country by ESPN.com, he is a 2014 preseason Class AAA all-state selection by the Georgia High School Football Daily.

Rosene, at six-feet-seven-inches and 325 pounds, is scheduled to start along the offensive front for the fourth consecutive season at Oaks Christian High School in California.

As a junior, he anchored an offensive line that helped Oaks Christian average 445 yards and 43.8 points per game.

Rosene is a four-star recruit according to Rivals.com and listed as the No. 52 offensive tackle prospect in the country by 247Sports.
