DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke Blue Devils football team entered this week’s Associated Press (AP) national poll with a No. 25 ranking after a 48-30 win over the then No. 24 Miami Hurricanes on Saturday.

The national ranking is the program’s first since 1994 when the Blue Devils were 25th following the regular season.

Duke is also ranked 24th in this week’s USA Today national poll as voted on by the nation’s head coaches.

Winners of six consecutive games, the Blue Devils stand at 8-2 overall and 4-2 in Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) play, and currently sit atop the Coastal Division standings.
