First-round picks Bean, Gauthier highlight Hurricanes development camp roster

RALEIGH, N.C. – Carolina Hurricanes 2016 NHL Entry Draft first-round picks Jake Bean and Julien Gauthier will lead a new group of prospects to the Triangle when they attend the team’s development camp July 6-9 at PNC Arena.

As announced by the team on Wednesday, Bean and Gauthier will be in attendance with the entire 2016 nine-player draft class along with previously-drafted/acquired players and select invitees as part of a 27-player roster that includes four goaltenders, eight defensemen, and 15 forwards.

The prospects’ evening on-ice sessions on July 6th and 7th, as well as the on-ice session at Noon on July 9th will be open to the public.

During camp, players will go through off-ice training and educational sessions, on-ice sessions, and will highlight their skills in front of fans in attendance during the Hurricanes’ Summerfest Celebration.
