BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Carolina Hurricanes selected goaltender Jack Lafontaine with their sixth selection, 75th overall, at the 2016 NHL Entry Draft held at First Niagara Center on Saturday.
The six-foot-three-inch, 197-pound keeper posted four shutouts along with a 2.16 goals-against average and .921 save percentage in 41 games played with the Janesville Jets of the North American Hockey League (NAHL).
