Hurricanes announce prospect camp, Summerfest events

RALEIGH, N.C. – The Carolina Hurricanes will hold their Prospects Development Camp at PNC Arena beginning July 6th as announced by the team on Thursday.

The camp will feature all or most of the team’s 2016 draft class, other previously-drafted/acquired players and select invitees.

Prospects Camp evening on-ice sessions on July 6th and 7th as well as the on-ice session at Noon on July 9th are open to the public.

Youth hockey camps and clinics (Elite and Power Skating) will also take place and highlight the mid-summer celebration of Hurricanes hockey that will end with the fourth annual Summerfest Celebration taking place on Sat., July 9.

Summerfest is free and begins at 10 a.m. inside the arena on the concourse level with more than 20 interactive inflatables, games and experiences, and free giveaways available.

Also included will be an autograph session with Hurricanes prospects, an equipment sale, and State of the Hurricanes address.
