NEW YORK, N.Y. – The National Hockey League (NHL) announced on Wednesday the home-opening games for all 30 clubs for the 2015-16 regular season.
Carolina Hurricanes fans can circle Sat. Oct. 10 on their calendars when the Detroit Red Wings will come to PNC Arena to open the season in Raleigh for the second time in three years.
Back on Oct. 4, 2013, the Red Wings took home a 3-2 overtime victory over the Hurricanes in front of a sold out crowd of 18,680 in attendance.
The league’s complete 1,230-game schedule will be released on Thursday.
